Yeah, Poldark is back for a fifth Series with Aidan Turner as the titular character, and the last as he hangs up tricorn for good.

The Poldarks’ peaceful life in Cornwall is disrupted by a plea for help from Ross’ old comrade, Ned Despard, drawing them into a world of duplicity. The Warleggans enter a shady alliance with Ralph Hanson, Cary intending to marry George with Ralph’s daughter, Cecily.
However, Cecily catches the eye of Geoffrey Charles, who’s joined Ross and Dwight in London where paranoia runs rife. While managing the Poldark’s affairs in Cornwall, Demelza finds her authority challenged by an upstart, Tess Tregidden, as Ross stumbles upon a plot to kill the king and the means to liberate Ned.
