EastEnders spoilers: Max’s self-harm story to be revisited?

Max’s self-harming was first discovered back in 2016 after his release from prison following time for Lucy’s murder.

It was clear that his time in prison had greatly affected him when scenes showed him burning himself with a lit cigarette.

3 years on his daughter Abi is dead, Lauren off in New Zealand, his wife Rainie has run off with his granddaughter Abi. It is far from being a happy time for Max at the moment.

However next week Stacey, who previously discovered his self-harm in 2017, makes a shocking discovery after Max injures himself on a broken picture frame, which is followed by a breakdown.

Later Stacey checks on Max, he makes a shocking admission to her.
