Episode 1

GARY FINDS AN INVESTOR FOR THE FACTORY Sarah tells the workers that the insurance company will only pay out £20k which will not be enough to rebuild the factory. But Gary has an idea and introduces a business associate Derek Milligan to Nick as a new investor for the factory.

EMMA GETS BAD NEWS Emma returns from finally visiting her Dad in hospital and in a state of shock, tells Maria that he’s been diagnosed with stomach cancer.

EILEEN AND SEB PICK UP THE PIECES Having been discharged from hospital, Seb returns to No.11. He and Eileen sympathise with each other over the harrowing events at the nail bar. Accompanied by a support worker from the Salvation Army, Alina approaches No.11.

ELSEWHERE Maria’s on a high after her date with Ali. Audrey’s delighted to see her so happy. Jo Lafoe, a business associate of Carla’s is taken aback to find Carla working behind the cafe counter. Evelyn’s intrigued to find out from James that Tommy Orpington is injured and won’t be playing in tonight’s game and uses it to her advantage.

Episode 2

GARY EXPANDS HIS EMPIRE Gary explains to Nick that Derek would buy the land, rebuild the factory and rent it out to Underworld on the proviso that he’s put in charge of the building work. When Izzy finds out that Sarah has refused to accept the offer as Derek is an associate of Gary’s she tells the factory staff who are furious she is putting her feelings above their jobs. Sarah is overruled.

EMMA’S FRIENDS RALLY ROUND Maria does her best to comfort Emma who’s clearly very worried about her Dad. Clearly upset, Emma tells Maria that her Mum, who lives in Australia, refuses to come over and visit her Dad despite his illness.

SEB AND ALINA SAY THEIR FINAL FAREWELLS At No.11, Alina tells Seb how the police raided the house where she and the other girls were staying, but her support worker is sorting her out with a safe house. Seb begs Alina to keep in touch but she refuses to make any promises.

ELSEWHERE A furious Steve tells Tyrone that Evelyn is running an illegal gambling den from the corner shop using inside information gleaned from James. Jo Lafoe tells Carla about her new online business and offers her a job. Carla’s flattered.

EastEnders

Mick goes for a run but when Bex spots him struggling she offers some tips. At the café, Bex’s concerns grow when it’s clear Mick’s in pain and when Stuart attempts to make conversation he’s quickly shut down by Mick. Mick’s day gets worse whilst refereeing the football match when one of the children gets injured and the opposition erupt at Mick. Mick collapses to everyone’s horror

Suspicious of Habiba’s sudden illness, Iqra catches her with Adam and as he makes a quick exit, Iqra tries to make Habiba see sense. Habiba chases after Adam but Lola confronts her and as the pair have a stand-off, Lola gives Habiba food for thought.

Mariam realises she’s forgotten something but Habiba offers to go to the shops for her. Spotting Adam, Habiba sets a trap.

Rainie tries to persuade Bobby to look after her but he refuses and leaves but forgets his bag. At Walford East, Bobby jumps to Iqra’s defence with a difficult customer and Iqra admits she knows Bobby’s exploring Islam and encourages him to tell his family, before inviting him to Eid at the Ahmed’s.

Chantelle helps Whitney with her clothing empire, but when she sees her images on social media, she panics knowing Gray will disapprove and lies to Whitney to get the posts down.

Hollyoaks

The Maalik family is having an Eid celebratory party, Jonny and Stuart suggest scaring the Maaliks into backing down.

The party is in full swing, and Leah and Lucas sneak out of Ste’s house and ask if they could join in on the fun.. Ste finds this out and crashes the party, dragging them both away. Stuart and Jonny stay and intimidate the Maalik family.

Leah tells Ste that she wishes Sami was her dad, and Jonny and Stuart use this to convince Ste of their plan to scare Sami. Later, Sami gets pepper sprayed in the street by a hooded mystery person.

Elsewhere, Breda is planning a big night in The Hutch on Friday. She tells Goldie that she’s throwing her a party to cheer her up, but in reality, she’s secretly planning to marry Jack… Breda calls Joel around and asks if he could lead them in some prayers after the wedding. It’s awkward as an angry Goldie gives Joel the cold shoulder.

Nancy notices that Brooke has been acting strange, and Ollie tells Nancy about her argument with Juliet. She asks Marnie to join her in a peace keeping effort.
