Emmerdale spoilers: It’s judgment day for Robert Sugden in court

As Aaron faces the future without his husband, Robert must come to terms with the scenario he finds himself in as his day in court arrives.

This week saw Robert and Aaron go on the run following the news that Lee, the rapist Robert hit with a shovel, had died.

But their escape came to an untimely end when the police found the remote cottage they were held up in and Robert made the sacrifice and handed himself into the police.

Aaron risks making the situation even worse as he tries to arrange a prison break out for his husband in the coming days.

Will he manage to get Robert away? or will Mr Sugden be going down for murder?

Whatever the outcome it is the beginning of the end as Ryan Hawley departs the role after 5 years in the role.
