Coronation Street spoilers: Has Derek claimed his first victim?

Robert planned to leave the street following his release after it was revealed Vicky was alive but tragedy has struck as Gary’s nemesis Derek got his hands on a gun.

Derek got his hands on the gun left in Gary’s shop and burst into the pub where, unable to get a drink, he started waving it around.

Steve pushed Emma into the men’s toilets for safety where Gary was roughing up Ali. When Gary finally emerged it all kicked off with the loan-shark taking on the gunman taunting his lack of power.

That was until Derek turned around and put a bullet through the door.

Unbeknown to Derek and the drinkers inside the stray bullet had hit Robert who was returning to the pub with a present he had to wrap.

Have Derek’s actions cost Robert his life?
