2, Bear and Karen clash during a difficult night surgery.
3, Minnah’s brother Akmal (Qasim Mahmood) comes looking for her, having found her by tracking her phone. Karen is protective of Minnah.
4, Clive (James Bradshaw) turns up for his appointment late. By contrast with Minnah who is reckless and impulsive, Clive is timid and has reached the age of forty-four still a virgin.
5, Minnah stands up to Akmal and reveals that she knows that he has a sexual secret too – he’s gay.
