Doctors spoilers: Friday 24th January 2020

1, After Rabbi David drops a confused old lady at The Mill, the team set about trying to find out who she is and where she’s come from. She doesn’t know her name and can’t seem to answer some basic questions, Emma suspects she might have dementia.

2, Valerie is beginning to invest more feelings in Rabbi David. At work she asks Ayesha if she’s heard of the term ‘beshert’ – a Jewish concept that translates to destiny.

3, A new inmate called Ash (Ivan Oyik) can be heard screaming through the night. Ash tries to confide in Jimmi having learned that he’s a doctor, but Jimmi is in no state to help and says that he’s feeling the exact same way.

4, Emma, Ayesha and Valerie try to piece together who the lady might be. Elizabeth (Amanda Boxer) can’t remember why she left the house, but later Valerie finds an unstamped letter near the bus stop where Elizabeth was found.

5, Ayesha asks if Valerie regrets doing the DNA test in the first place to which Valerie replies: she has no regrets, this has given her a sense of destiny.

6, Rob confirms Jimmi’s fears by letting him know that Alun Clay’s alibi checks out. There’s no way that his father could have been responsible for getting Jimmi sent to prison.
