Following Marlon’s arrest in last night Emmerdale the fight is on to clear his name with Mandy leading her ‘Free Marlon’ campaign.
Of course April wants to see her dad but it’s a prison and not a place for kids so Marlon has Cain lie for him that no kids are allowed. Later April hears how Marlon is struggling and unwittingly an oblivious Pollard reveals to April how Bob and Mandy have been lying to her about children not being allowed in prison.
Soon April has gone missing and a worried Mandy phones the police. As the villagers search for her, in prison, Marlon gets aggressive with one of the prison guards after hearing of April’s disappearance and Mandy’s left feeling terrible.
As the search continues, Bob and Sam find a bedraggled April on the side of the Hotten Road but and are surprised when April tries to run away from them.
