Next week on the cobbles of Coronation Street, viewers will see Bethany Platt bid her farewells to her family as Lucy Fallon bows out of the show.
(Picture: ITV)In the first visit to the cobbles of the week on Monday evening’s first episode, viewers will see Sarah and her daughter, Bethany are still at loggerheads.. But will the mother and daughter, make up before her mum’s wedding later that day?
In Monday’s second episode, it’s the day of Sarah Platt and Adam Barlow’s wedding as Bethany is wedded into leaving with Daniel Osborne as the wedding holds some bitter sweet memories for Beth as she turns on Bethany who then congratulates her on successfully airbrushing Sinead out of their lives.
Craig is then seen warning his friend, Bethany that Daniel is a car crash waiting to happen and that she’ll be the one getting hurt.
Daniel is then seen to be delivering his best man’s speech but as he quotes a letter written by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the words hits home and he breaks down. But as Bethany listens unnerved and fearing that her mum, Sarah may be right after all that he is still in love with Sinead.
In the first episode to the cobbles on Wednesday evening, viewers will see the truth rings in Bethany’s ears as Sarah is seen doing her best to talk some sense into her daughter, Bethany telling her that Daniel has not moved on from Sinead as Adam goes off to try and find him as Daniel is drinking in The Rovers Return.
However, Adam is stunned when Daniel tells him that he is going to prove that he loves Bethany by proposing to her. But before Adam can stop Daniel, he runs outside and onto the street and starts shouting up to the salon flat – Bethany and Sarah appear at the open window and pulling out Sinead’s wedding ring, Daniel gets down on one knee! But how will Bethany react to his proposal?
