It’s time for a brand new series of Britain’s Got Talent and this was recorded in January and February of this year before the current guidelines were put into place.
Dogs, choirs, magicians and more make up a fantastic opening to the shows 14th series. Across the first show there are, in my view, some stand out and heartwarming moments.
A few of the acts up tonight are:
X1X Crew
A dance troop from India ranging from ages 13-28 and the style is fast-paced mixing hip hop and jhama.
X1X is a dance act that could rival that of past acts such as Diversity.
Papi Flex
Certainly not an act for the faint of heart viewers. Papi Flex is a 26-year-old contortionist from Belgium.
St Anne’s Gospel Choir
An 81 strong all girl gospel choir from London. They give a performance of Emeli Sandé’s ‘Shine’ but will it be enough to get them to the next stage?
James and Dylan Piper
A father and son magic duo from South Wales who perform a mind reading trick that involves both Simon Cowell and his son Eric.
Diana Vedyashinka
A 35-year-old dog trainer from Russia who performs with her five dachshunds.
Sign Along With Us
My favorite act of the night is a singing choir from Manchester with 37 children and 28 adults who sign and sing to ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman. Viewers of 2019’s Pride of Britain awards will recognize Ella Chadwick who won the Child of Courage Award.
