Rewind 3 years and Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) was last seen skipping town with Summer who later returned and had to explain to Eileen and Billy what had happened.
Todd’s sudden departure was brought on by actor Bruno’s axing after playing the role on and off for 16 years.
During his time in Coronation Street Todd was involved in some big storylines such as his relantionship with Sarah Platt and his coming out which led to a well remembered bust up between his mother Eileen Grimshaw and Sarah’s mother Gail Plat.
Where has Todd been hiding, why does he need the cash and why doesn’t he want to be found? The letter starts months of intrigue and mystery until Todd finally breaks cover, much to the relief of mum and friends.

Todd will be back in Coronation Street this autumn.
