Emmerdale spoilers: Jamie Tate arrested after Belle Dingle double crosses him

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and that was certainly true for Jamie Tate, who now faces the very real threat of being locked up after girlfriend Belle shopped him to the police over the hit and run on Moira Dingle.

Jamie and the viewers have no idea that for weeks Belle has been stringing him along waiting for the right time – that came when Andrea told Moira. More shocks came to light when Belle revealed she had help from Nate, now what will that do for the Cain/Nate drama?

Watching Belle rip Jamie apart was just a delight to see.

You could see throughout this Cain was just itching to get whacking and given how smug Jamie has been recently I don’t think I’d have felt sorry for him.

Speaking about tonight’s episodes Emmerdale caught up with Belle Dingle actress Eden Taylor Draper to discuss the latest drama:

Did you enjoy knowing this twist was coming up in the show?

Eden: Yeah I really enjoyed the fact we preserved this twist. I think so often things obviously get leaked so when it’s a twist you don’t know about as a viewer it’s a real shock.

So.. Belle was playing him along all the time.. was it hard for her to do that with all her family believing she had in fact sided with a Tate?

Eden: I think it was really hard for her yes, in fact I can’t imagine being in that position. Even though she hated Jamie and knew he deserved to pay for what he had done I do think feelings for him are still there which makes it even more complicated. When Sam got sacked that was horrible for her and she just hopes the Dingles understand why she did it. 

She said Nate helped her.. do you think that might help Cain see him in a better light?

Eden: I hope so! Belle wants the family to be strong and there for each other and over time Nate has shown himself to be a good person but there’s so much history there, so I think we’ll have to see.
