KEN GIVES UP ON HIS SON Peter steals a bottle of whisky from the bar and knocks it back as Carla begs him to stop. Taking in the scene, Jenny asserts that living in a pub clearly isn’t helping and tells Peter he needs to find somewhere else to live. Ken tells Peter he can move back in on condition he stops drinking but Peter turns down his offer and heads out. Tracy assures Ken that Peter will come to his senses but in the ginnel Peter slumps against a wall and knocks back whisky.

ASHA’S BIRTHDAY ENDS IN TEARS Nina urges Asha to carve her own path and not let the likes of Corey bully her. Buoyed by Nina’s words, Asha puts the choker back on. When Corey sees her wearing it again he orders her to remove it, asserting it’s the end of their relationship if she doesn’t comply. Asha stands her ground and Corey goes as Asha tries to hide her upset.

FAYE IS RATTLED BY TIM’S QUESTIONS Tim quizzes Faye about the rucksack and wonders if she knows anything about the attack on Adam. Struggling to keep a lid on her anxiety, Faye denies all knowledge.

ELSEWHERE Simon’s chuffed when Dev offers him an evening job delivering fish and chips. When Daisy reveals she’s split up with her boyfriend, Jenny agrees that she can move into the pub.
