Kim’s unnerved when Jamie and Andrea turn up to tell her they’ve amicably settled their divorce, with Jamie giving up Dale View so he can keep Millie close. Later when Jamie finds Gabby and Kim arguing about the loss of Dale View he fires some parting shots at his Mum before heading off to a conference, leaving seething Kim to turn on Gabby. Gabby tries to defend herself against Kim who is woozy and disorientated but tries to kick Gabby out. Swigging brandy, regretful Kim tries to tell Gabby she doesn’t actually need to leave, but stung Gabby heads out without a word. As the door slams, Kim loses her balance and collapses to the floor, terrified as she loses consciousness

Ethan opens up to Vic about his Mum leaving when he was three.

Faith gives Lydia £1000 claiming to have sold the hearse but what is she up to?

Lydia arrives and shouts in alarm as she sees Kim lying lifeless. Kim opens her eyes in a panic and worried Lydia tells Kim she needs to see a doctor, but she refuses. Kim’s privately terrified she could be seriously ill and is looking at something on her laptop. When Gabby pitches up she knocks the laptop and reads what it says aloud: Kim comes clean; Shaky Kim opens up to Lydia and Gabby.

Matty tells his mum he has a consultation and assessment to get on the waiting list for lower surgery. Moira is super supportive during the virtual consultation but is left concerned that Matty’s going through with the surgery for Amy’s sake rather than for himself. Emotional, Matty explains the difference it will make to his life and that Amy is unaware of the consultation. Supportive Moira urges him to talk to his girlfriend.

Wednesday 14 April 2021 7.00pm – 7.30pm

Jamie offers Noah a job but it’s clear he’s up to something.

Amy is worried that Matty hasn’t returned any of her calls and when he makes his excuses and leaves their lunch date early she questions Moira. Not wanting to break her son’s confidence, Moira urges Amy to speak to Matty. When Amy queries what’s going on, Matty explains about the consultation and why he was nervous about telling her. He explains why he wants to go through with the surgery and Amy tells him he needs to do whatever’s right for him and she will support him every step of the way.

Thursday 15 April 2021 7.00pm – 7.30pm

Vinny’s prepared to face the day as the hearse arrives outside the Dingles’. Mandy’s on edge, wanting to support Vinny but unable to honour Paul’s memory. She tells Lydia to keep Vinny inside as she heads out, needing to say goodbye her way. Mandy struggles to control her emotions as she speaks directly to Paul’s coffin, saying he doesn’t deserve a funeral. Vinny walks back out, overhears and tells Mandy she should be ashamed. Brave Vinny’s all alone as he walks through the village behind the hearse. Liv’s desperate to show Vinny her support but he refuses to look at her. Inside the church, Vinny braces himself to read out his eulogy but, struggling, he’s unable to finish and flees the church.

Victoria has the idea of searching for Ethan’s mum via her medical records.
