Al unwillingly finds himself on a blind date but makes an unexpected connection with a woman who may not be everything she seems.

Al complains to Jimmi and Valerie that his friends have cancelled on their drink with him tonight, suggesting he meet up with their friend by himself.

Valerie explains to Jimmi it’s a blind date by stealth.

Al sits in the pub, drawing a phone on a beermat, waiting for ‘Vicki’ to show up. She’s late but when she arrives she’spretty, funny and they actually seem to connect. Jimmi shows up (pre-arranged) to rescue Al but Al rebuffs him. Vicki and Al get dinner, more drinks and she invites him to a party which turns out to be a modern art launch at a gallery.

When Al and Vicki arrive at the pub, they find a wasted Jess Morgan and a grumpy bar manager, TK Nelson. They manage to cover most of the tab, but TK refuses to let them leave.
