James risks his relationship when he agrees to work with the McQueens on John Paul’s case. The Deveraux family hold an intervention for Martine after her shocking announcement. Darren surprises Nancy with a meditation session to help with her stress.

Theresa knows who the false witness is, but DS Cohen doesn’t believe her, and warns her to stay away or she’ll arrest her for wasting police time, so she turns to James for help.

Meanwhile, Ste worries James’ feelings for John Paul could be reignited if he is working closely with him, so James agrees not to work on the case anymore. However, it’s not long before he goes back on his word and helps Theresa trap the witness into admitting that they lied about putting John Paul at the crime scene. Later, Leah overhears a conversation between James and the McQueens, and realises that he has lied to her dad, Ste.

The Deveraux family hold an intervention for Martine at The Hutch after she made a shocking decision regarding her treatment. She opens up to them about her mum’s battle with cancer. Later, Martine meets with the same woman who interviewed her for the Business Woman of the Year award, as they discuss what’s next following the award reveal. Martine stands up to her when she is rude again, and their encounter makes Martine come to a realisation.

At the Osbornes, Darren surprises Nancy with a meditation session to help with her stress. Also, Brooke and Charlie are arguing when Brooke borrows his clothes.
