Tuesday 7th June
It’s the big day for Darren and Nancy and they are still desperate to keep it a secret, so they don’t overshadow Cindy’s few days with Luke ahead of their big holiday in Mallorca.
When Cindy almost spots Nancy in her wedding dress, Nancy is forced to lie about what she’s up to, but will she be able to keep up the façade with Luke’s plotting in the background…
Later, best man, Luke’s incredible plans for a post-wedding celebration are revealed, complete with an adorned marquee and an extra-special guest, Chesney Hawkes, to serenade the happy couple…
Wednesday 8th June
The sun rises on the beautiful Mallorca coast as Luke and Cindy’s pre-wedding celebrations commence, with the girls kicking back for a spa day, and the boys, dressed in matching stag-do-t-shirts, explore the island.
It’s off to a rocky start for the boys when they discover the boat they have hired is a far cry away from the speedboat they were expecting, but, luckily, kind stranger Alex saves the day by showing them a good time.
Whilst showing off Cindy’s wedding ring, Luke and the rest of the stag-do are faced with armed robbers, and Luke ends up exacerbating the situation…
As the party say goodbye to new friend Alex, Luke spots his glistening jewellery, and wonders why they weren’t stolen too, and soon makes a shocking realisation…
Luke is set with a dangerous task, and failure has a deadly cost for Ollie, but will he remember what he must do to save his son’s life…
With many touching moments and heartfelt reflections, the holiday is full of highs and lows, but tragedy strikes at sunset, as the final chapter of Luke Morgan takes place.
Back at the Hollyoaks village, reassured by doctors that everything is fine with her pregnancy, Nancy heads to work, but is quickly forced to break up a school fight between DeMarcus and Charlie.
The Deputy Head calls Felix in to discuss the situation, and, when he eventually arrives, a series of unfortunate events lead to Nancy being locked in a classroom with Felix, and her water’s just broke…
They both realise how inexperienced each other are with birthing when they delve into their pasts, and, touching on uncomfortable memories, they come together and support one another in delivering the baby.
Thursday 9th June
In this episode, sunny Mallorca turns sorrowful for Luke’s loved ones as they wait with anticipation at his bedside for some news. Whilst Tony tries to keep spirits up with a pep talk on Luke’s resilience, Cindy gets the heart-breaking news that the doctors can’t do anymore for him…
Back in the village, Darren has to fight tears as he rushes home to meet his new baby girl and is welcomed with the tragic news of the loss of his best friend…
Elsewhere, Romeo sees red when a conversation with Shaq reveals the shocking truth behind James’ involvement in Tom’s recent misfortune. Later, he confronts his dad and James makes a surprising confession…
Later, James makes a prison visit to a surprising ally, Jeremy, and his sinister plans are revealed…
Meanwhile, kind words from Nancy gives Felix hope for his relationship with DeMarcus…
Friday 10th June
In this heart-breaking episode, the Cunningham family return home and are faced with the reality of Luke being gone for good, but Cindy’s behaviour is particularly alarming when she puts on her wedding dress and insists on opening the burger stall…
Ignoring her family’s concerns, she goes to buy more produce from Price Slice, only to end up snapping at Pearl, but luckily Mercedes intervenes. Having both tragically lost their partners, the two women come together, and Mercedes offers her some words of encouragement.
In touching scenes, Ollie surprises Cindy at the folly, revealing that Luke had been taking dancing lessons for the wedding, and as he shows her what he learned, Cindy gets to say her final goodbye to Luke.
Elsewhere, Darren doesn’t know how to feel, plagued with grief for his best friend, but filled with joy with his new-born baby. Brooke also has mixed emotions, as they wonder whether giving up their son, Thierry, was the right choice, but they confide in Ripley.
Meanwhile, Eric is Charlie’s devil on his shoulder when he encourages him to be cruel to fellow student Leah.
Also, just when it looks like James wants to make a change for the better, he jeopardises his already fragile relationship with his family by making his biggest gamble yet.
