In the latest episode of River City, Lydia faces a distressing situation as the police investigation into her assault continues. Feeling helpless, she turns to her protective friend Lenny for much-needed support. However, a surprise visit from Callum brings a new twist to the story. Callum reveals that his summer holidays have been marred by the constant bickering between Scarlett and Madonna.
Callum is completely unaware of the ongoing situation, but Lenny’s remarks about Andrew raise his suspicions about the supposed “nice guy.” Lydia appreciates Callum’s concern, but their day takes an unexpected turn when a furious Scarlett shows up.
The tension escalates when the police reach a decision that leaves Lydia stunned, causing further distress within the Murdoch and O’Hara families.
On another front, Rebecca and Angus find themselves in an emotional heart-to-heart. Despite Bob urging Angus to reconsider, he decides it’s time to end their relationship. When Angus tries to mend things, he is shocked to learn that Rebecca has already come to terms with moving on without him.
In lighter news, Mikey gets a delightful invitation from Gillian to be her guest at a doctor’s ball. However, there’s a twist – Gillian’s boyfriend, Ash, supposedly can’t attend due to a football injury. But when Mikey discovers Ash secretly dancing, embarrassed about performing in front of Gillian’s doctor friends, he steps in as a good friend and offers Ash dance lessons.
