In today’s episode of Home and Away, Cash finds himself in a tense and dangerous situation as he is surrounded by members of the Vita Nova compound, including their cunning ringleader Margot. The truth about Cash and Justin’s façade is exposed, but luckily, they are eventually released physically unharmed. However, the encounter leaves them feeling deflated and defeated. On the other hand, Andrew is not as fortunate, as he is dragged back by the compound henchmen in what can only be described as a major failure.
Back in Summer Bay, Leah returns home earlier than expected and is eager to catch up with Cash and Justin. There is uncertainty about what steps to take next, and they agree that they might have to put their trust in the task force. Despite this decision, Leah can’t shake off her concern and is haunted by Andrew’s absence, leading her to question how Justin could simply give up on his brother.
Meanwhile, Kate seeks support from Xander at Salt, hoping to find solace in someone who knew her late husband. Xander, being a supportive friend, offers her a place to stay for the night. However, the atmosphere turns somber as Xander shares stories of Jamie, bringing back memories and tears for both of them.
The following day, Kate invites Xander to attend a soccer match with her and her son. Mackenzie, ever perceptive, notices that Kate might be becoming overly dependent on Xander and feels it’s time to address the issue.
Elsewhere, Marilyn receives threatening photographs on her phone, causing her distress and anxiety. Worried for her safety, Roo and John stand by her side as she decides to report the matter to the police. Cash steps in to help Marilyn and sets up precautions to ensure her safety, but unfortunately, his efforts to trace the source of the threats hit a dead end. With tensions running high, Marilyn and Roo remain on edge, and Cash feels apologetic that he can’t do more to alleviate the situation.
