Fergal introduces himself to Joan. Joan notices that Fergal is trying to bond with Gareth, and the communication seems unreceptive. Meanwhile, Doug seems to strike up a new friendship with the new kid on the block Fergal, and Gareth seems very uncomfortable around Fergal when he makes some comments about women, should he be concerned?

Tommy is on edge when Carol and Dearbhla call to let him know that a shooting took place in North Dublin leaving someone dead, is this the end of Zak? Tommy is also on edge when Garda Taylor seeks him out, is the game finally up for Tommy? McCabe thanks Taylor for whistle-blowing, and is determined to track down Mairéad to make amends with her.
Renée and Pete agree to try and get the consortium back on track, but is sceptical of Dolores’ involvement and commitment to the consortium. Renée is suspicious that Pete is angling to re-brand McCoys and sees him with fabric material. Hughie sees one of the pub chain investors sniffing around McCoys and realises that the pressure is well and truly on. Renée and Dolores make amends and the consortium agrees to put their difference aside and unite for the community. Hayley informs the consortium that the highest bidder will win.
