Marlon, although excited to be back behind the wheel, is exceedingly nervous. Meanwhile, Mary is lying to the family that she’s back on the dating scene when in reality she’s not confident enough. When Paddy discovers Mary sobbing in a field after having pretended to go on a date, he’s delayed to meet his best friend Marlon.
The argument that ensues, due to Marlon having felt spurned by his pal, nearly puts pay to their close friendship. Before long, Marlon’s wife Rhona is feeling the weight of trying to support her husband, Marlon, his friend Paddy, and Mary, her mother too.
Finally snapping, she tells them that tomorrow they’ll all have to face their fears together…
The next day, Mary, Marlon, and Paddy nervously await their ‘fear-facing day’ with Rhona in charge.
When Rhona reveals what she’s organized for each of them, the group supports each other and heads off in trepidation. But will Rhona’s tough love approach work in helping Mary, Marlon, and Paddy face up to what is daunting them?
