While Leah sympathises with Tegan following Andrew’s decision, Andrew wrestles with having lied about his choice. Theo encourages Andrew to be truthful with Justin about wanting to live with his sister, but Andrew fears hurting Justin after everything they’ve been through. Theo takes it into his own hands and tells Leah and Justin the truth – Andrew wants to leave. Justin doesn’t accept this at first, but when he sees how much it hurts Andrew and Tegan to be separated, he gives Andrew his blessing to live with his sister. Justin holds back tears as they say a heartfelt goodbye. He knows he’s done the right thing.
Bree is frosty with Remi after overhearing him with Mercedes the night before. After giving Remi the chance to fess up, Bree corners him. She was at the recording studio last night – “So what exactly did Mercedes mean when she said she kissed you?” Remi explains what happened, but Bree calls him out. If it was so innocent, why didn’t he mention it earlier? Bree reminds Remi of the way she was treated in her marriage – she can’t accept this behaviour. By not telling her the truth, he’s taken her power away. Remi reiterates that nothing happened and that he’s told Mercedes that nothing can. He promises to never lie again, and a tearful Bree forgives him. However, when she’s left alone with his phone, she’s quick to snap a photo of Mercedes’ number.
Mali is on the mend and he and Rose are in a great spot after agreeing to pretend the ‘I love you’ didn’t happen, but Rose privately admits to Mackenzie that had it been said under different circumstances, she would have said it too. Mackenzie encourages her – if you feel it, tell him. She wishes she had with Gabe. Later, Rose plans a romantic surprise for Mali at the farmhouse – a candlelit dinner. She glams up for the occasion and leads him home blindfolded, but when they both set their eyes on the scene the Farmhouse has been trashed and a threatening message left – “Stay away from my wife”. Rose is rattled: “Mali, what’s going on?”
