Next week on Emmerdale, Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) remains committed to her plan to cure her PMDD symptoms and confides in April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan).
Fans will have seen Cathy struggling to deal with mental health and physical symptoms throughout this year, and a manic episode nearly resulted in her death.
Cathy and Samson Dingle (played by Sam Hall) have a history. Cathy believed that Samson had feelings for her, but she later discovered that he had slept with Amelia Spencer (played by Daisy Campbell) and impregnated her. Samson quickly rejected Cathy, leaving her devastated when he admitted that his feelings for her were not genuine.
However, it seems Samson’s had a change of heart and Cathy is left elated when he reciprocates her flirty banter and the pair of them are planning a date that evening.
With Cathy desperate to find a way to manage her symptoms will she take advantage of Samson in the hope of easing her suffering?
Trouble continues elsewhere in the Dingle household as Craig continues to use Samson as a means to increase the tension as he peppers Samson with questions about Lydia’s relationship with Sam.
