Sash is back at McCoys as the manager. Carol updates Sash about the kidnapping, but Tommy believes Zak is innocent. Buckley continues to question Zak about the diamond, but Zak denies knowing anything about it. Buckley threatens to arrest Zak when he refuses to cooperate. Buckley also informs Gwen and James that they will be questioned further. James accuses Gwen of betraying Zak, but she denies it. Despite the suspicion, Zak and Gwen are drawn to each other. Sash warns Zak not to jeopardize her future.
Victor becomes worried when he learns about Jess’s antenatal appointment. He senses that Jess is hiding something when she hesitates to show him the ultrasound. Eventually, Babs reveals the truth about Jess’s baby, leaving Victor troubled.
Dearbhla finds out that Joan and Gar have been cleared to leave the hospital. She urges Dermot again to leave town and tells Joan and Gar about Dermot’s release.
