Nicolette receives an unwelcome surprise when she spies Veronica at the jumble sale for Sonya’s Foundation, leaving her certain that Veronica is out to make her life a living hell. Worried that her shameful manipulation of Sasha is about to be made public, Nicolette turns to Paul for help. But before he can do anything, Veronica snatches Isla from the jumble sale, leaving Nicolette in a state of terror and distress. Though Nicolette and Byron safely locate Isla, having been left by Veronica outside the police station, Byron urges Nicolette to realise that this situation has gone way too far. Even though she might hate it, it’s time for Nicolette to come clean, before Veronica does something worse…
Krista’s left upset after overhearing Leo’s assessment of her parenting capabilities, and Leo’s embarrassed when he learns Krista witnessed it firsthand. An apologetic Leo is able to mend fences with Krista, explaining his overreaction as a consequence of having lost Britney in tragic circumstances and being ultra-protective of Abigail as a result. But when Leo accidentally calls Krista, Britney, Paul realises the true nature of their relationship. He suggests Leo sees Krista as a way to make up for his failings with Britney, which Leo immediately denies. However, when Paul warns Krista, she’s left shaken by the idea that Leo sees her as a project and that their friendship isn’t genuine. Unnerved, she turns away from Leo and instead seeks support from Remi, admitting that she hasn’t been able to eat or drink anything since the spiking incident because she’s paranoid it’s going to happen again.
Aaron’s comically offended when David offers to teach him a few cocktail flair moves for his new job at The Waterhole, reminding David that he’s the one that taught him in the first place. The friendly banter over who’s the better mixologist results in an energetic cocktail-off in Number Twenty-Four, with the married couple in friendly competition over who can do the most moves. By the contest’s end, the fun and frivolity (and alcohol) lead to Aaron and David getting hot and heavy in the kitchen, only to be walked in on by a mortified Jane. Erm… Sorry Jane…
