A return of a familiar face in EastEnders
Johnny is back in Walford and it’s not long before he is helping up his drunk mother, Linda, and is left horrified by the state she is in. He heads to The Vic and wants answers – how did things get so bad?
Johnny is on the warpath when Elaine reveals that Dean has returned, and he heads to confront him. But he is spotted by Ben who has to drag him off Dean. Over a drink with Callum there is some catching up to be done.

It’s not the end of the matter though as Johnny punches Dean and warns him to leave Linda alone.
Later, Ben promises Johnny to help get rid of Dean but tells Callum it’ll be all above board and legal.
With Ben’s days in Walford numbered will his plan backfire?

Over in Emmerdale it’s all kicking off as there is an affair to be revealed!
Tracy is hurt to see Caleb and Ruby out together but feigns nonchalance. Later, Ruby asks for Nicky’s advice on how to win Caleb back.
That evening, Caleb and Tracy exchange a few words on Main Street and having witnessed the interaction, Ruby’s vengeful but keeps her mischievous plans close to her chest.

Arriving at the wedding reception, Ruby deliberately creates an awkward atmosphere and is intent on causing mayhem, Ruby interrupts the reception to announce the affair between Caleb and Tracy to the entire party….

Car crash horror in Coronation Street
Simon wakes up on the sofa with a banging headache. As Bobby clears away the empties, Simon surreptitiously takes a swig of vodka. Back at home Nick tells Toyah he needs her help shopping and asks Simon to drive Sam to his chess competition. But as they set off Simon loses control of the car on a bend and crashes into a road sign. In a panic, Simon orders Sam out of the car and tells him to run.

Simon admits to Leanne that he pranged her car but when she insists they report it to the police, Simon refuses and admits he was over the drink drive limit. Leanne’s horrified.
Later, As Sam plays chess with Roy before school, he struggles to make a basic move and Roy’s bemused. Meanwhile Simon tells Nick he’s sorry about the car. Nick assures him it was an accident, but when Kevin lets slip that the car repairs were nothing to do with the brakes, Nick’s suspicions grow.
At school Hope finds Sam unconscious on the floor and yells for a teacher. Sam’s rushed to hospital, where Leanne tells the doctor that Sam was involved in a car accident, forced to admit to Nick that the brakes weren’t at fault, she lied to protect Simon as he’d been drinking and was over the limit when he crashed. Nick reels.
Awash with guilt Simon decides to take responsibility.

Ste’s guilt mounts in Hollyoaks after recent dramas
Managing to move the car before the police find it, Ste takes it somewhere quiet where he sets it on fire. Not wanting to take part in Carter’s new Student Behavioural Unit and be singled out even more, Lucas tells the headteacher to expel him.
After overhearing Lucas and Leah arguing and discovering his stepson has been expelled from school, James apologises to the teens for their father not being there, but things go from bad to worse when Ste stumbles in drunk.
Lucas storms off and Leah is left heartbroken blaming herself. James sends Leah to find Lucas and to stay at Leela’s place. When James goes to clean up Ste, he is shocked to discover his car keys in his husband’s pocket.
