Coronation Street is set to welcome back Violet Wilson (Jenny Platt) after more than a decade away as her son is exposed in his role of bullying Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall). Alongside Mason Radcliffe, Dylan has made Liam’s life unbearable ahead of scenes to air in the coming week in which he contemplates suicide.
Violet was last in Weatherfield in 2008 after she gave birth to her son, Dylan Wilson, with father Sean Tully. Violet then moved to London with Dylan leaving the show. She made a one-off appearance in an episode filmed on location in London in 2011, which is the last time we saw her.
In scenes to air in the coming weeks and months Dylan will be facing the serious repercussions of his actions and will be needing the support of both his parents.
Violet will be back on screens on Wednesday 20th March 2024.
