Carla faced losing everything after Stephen emptied the factory accounts shortly before his death and tried, in vain, to recover the money. While she wasn’t successful in recovering it, Jenny and Daisy were.
Carla waits for a client in the Chariot Square Hotel and chats to a rep from Waterfords who explains that he’s meeting Daisy, the owner of the Rovers. Carla assumes he means Jenny, but as she heads off she’s puzzled to see Daisy arrive. Daisy tells Jenny she’s secured a deal allowing them to stock Newton & Ridley. Jenny’s annoyed but Daisy points out she is co-owner of the pub.
They’re horrified to realise Carla’s heard every word.

It’s not the only drama for Daisy this week as Ryan returns amid trouble with Daniel and Bethany as Daisy reveals Lauren blackmailed her and Ryan and only asked Daniel to tutor her so she could increase the pressure.
