After a near-fatal stabbing leaves Romeo in hospital, Peri is shocked to hear the series of events that led up to the incident, but Romeo protects his dad by not revealing the real reason why James framed Kane. Fearing for his life if he returns to prison, Peri blackmails James into helping Romeo escape, with his first order of business being to drug the guard. Police swarm the building and Romeo sets off the fire alarm in a bid to distract them.
Not being able to exit through the back door where James and Peri are waiting with a getaway van, a disguised Romeo exits through the front and jumps into the driving seat of an empty taxi. Before he leaves, oblivious Prince and Dilly hop into the back asking to go to Rafe’s manor, with Prince vowing that if he ever sees Romeo again, he’s a dead man…
As Prince and Dilly arrive at Rafe’s manor, they’re shocked to discover that their driver is escaped convict Romeo…
Later, Peri is in hot water when a detective turns up on her doorstep suspecting her involvement in Romeo’s escape plan. Leela is furious to hear this, annoyed of the accusations being thrown at her daughter. However, she’s heartbroken when Peri admits that it’s true and asks her mum for advice.
