EastEnders
It’s Mother’s Day in Walford, and Cindy is excited about celebrating with Gina, Anna and Peter together for the first time. However, at The Vic, George is struggling to cope, having been informed that no DNA matches have been found for him and there’s no trace of his birth family. Stacey and Jack are thrown together as Lily and Ricky celebrate Mother’s Day at Walford East.
Vinny tells Suki to make it up with Eve, who is smarting from Suki moving out of the Slater house. Suki apologises and invites Eve to move into No.41 but doesn’t get the response she wanted. Penny becomes an unlikely confidante for Eve, who worries that living with Suki’s family would be a recipe for disaster. Eve finally talks to Suki about her fears.
Johnny piles on the pressure to get Stacey to sort the issue of Denise for all the women’s sakes, so she asks Denise to let her visit. At the hospital, Denise tells Stacey she’s no longer seeing Keanu but intends to stay in hospital.
Elsewhere, Jean steps in to save the day when Jade is about to cancel her charity auction but there’s an awful lot to do and very little time. Later, Jean struggles with a lack of donations for the auction until Pastor Clayton and Yolande step in to help.
An upsetting incident at the church leaves Yolande feeling worse about the rumours flying around her and Pastor Clayton. That’s until Pastor Clayton makes her tell him what’s going on and then denounces the gossips, making Yolande promise that it won’t affect their friendship.
Coronation Street
Linda broaches the subject of Joseph’s schoolwork with Chesney and reckons he’d benefit from a move to Oakhill. When Linda offers to pay the fees, Chesney’s gobsmacked.
Simon tells Nick and Leanne that he’s prepared for whatever punishment the magistrate throws at him tomorrow as he deserves it. Sam agrees to write a character reference for Simon.
Leanne tells Debbie that she’s taking Simon to the The Institute seminar at the Chariot Square Hotel. Debbie suggests she takes Nick along too so they can check out the wedding fayre. Under pressure, Nick reluctantly agrees to accompany Leanne to the wedding fayre. Meanwhile Rowan from The Institute charms Leanne and gives her the benefit of his advice. Leanne’s taken aback. Rowan talks to Leanne and encourages her to share her innermost thoughts and feelings. As he makes to leave, he flashes her a smile and Leanne finds herself blushing.
Sarah and Damon excitedly show Gail the details of a house they’re going to view. Damon calls Harvey and tells him he wants a cut of the profits from the job or he’ll go to the police then makes out to Sarah that he’s spoken to his financial advisor and they can afford to buy the house of her dreams.
As Sean scrolls on his phone looking at flats to rent, Dylan insists he wants nothing more to do with Mason. A guilty Eileen assures them there’s no rush to move out and to take their time. As Gary and Maria discuss Liam’s home-schooling routine, they’re interrupted by a knock on the door from the police. The police tell Gary and Maria that Mason’s been charged with threatening with a bladed article in a public space and he’ll likely receive a custodial sentence.
As Eliza practises her German, determined that one day she’ll go and live with Dom, Stu comes to a decision. Stu admits to Dom that he’s been entirely selfish and suggests that Eliza has two weeks with him in Germany at Easter as a trial run with a view to moving there permanently.
In a bid to cheer him up, Amy suggests to Steve they watch a movie together later. When Toyah lets slip that Amy had lunch with Tracy and Tommy and they appeared to hit it off, Steve’s upset and Toyah realises she’s put her foot in it.
Bobby and Max have spent the night watching the police coming and going from Lauren’s flat. When Bethany and Daniel call round at No.8 to ask about Lauren Max quizzes Daniel about his tutor sessions. Realising the dates don’t stack up, Max eyes Daniel with suspicion. When Max goes to the station to tell Swain about Lauren’s O-Vidz account he discovers Ryan had already told her. DS Swain questions Max about Lauren’s secret boyfriend. Max admits that he never met her boyfriend, but he suspects it’s Daniel Osbourne. DS Swain quizzes Daniel about his relationship with Lauren, suggesting that she paid for her lessons with sex. Daniel’s horrified and when DS Swain drags up his previous relationships with Summer and Nicky Wheatle he demands a solicitor realising he is under suspicion. Bethany and Daniel listen in horror to a radio interview with DS Swain in which she suggests that Lauren was murdered.
Emmerdale
Mary shows Rhona images of Ivy she found on Gus’ social media. Rhona’s tearful as she continues to gaze at photos of Ivy.
Lydia steamrolls Rhona into agreeing to a Dingle birthday party for Marlon’ 50th.
Sparks begin to fly in the surgery as Ella and Liam bond over houseplants. Manpreet’s wary to see the pair of them looking so cosy.
Belle and Tom look after Elliot and Carl when Jimmy and Nicola visit Angel. Later, Belle’s horrified to find her laptop broken by a spilt milkshake as the chances of her completing her proposal drastically diminish.
Kerry agrees to be civil with Chas. She can’t help but eavesdrop when she overhears her on the phone with the hospital. Following her into the pub, Kerry offers Chas some tentative support. Although Chas is surprised by the sudden turn in their relationship, she discusses her operation with Kerry and agrees to bury the past. Later, when Gail rushes off sick, Amy blags a job for Kerry at the Woolpack. Charity and Kerry make an unlikely team.
When Chas only allows herself two weeks off on the Woolpack roster, Aaron worries that she’s not facing up to the reality of her operation. After a long chat, Chas finally opens up to a supportive Paddy about her concerns surrounding her operation. Paddy lovingly comforts Chas as she fears the worst. Swept up in the familiarity of the situation, the pair begin to kiss before Paddy realises he’s made a huge mistake. His tactless reaction leaves Chas unexpectedly hurt. Later, Mandy’s shell shocked when Paddy reveals he kissed Chas. Paddy’s unnerved by Mandy’s eerily quiet reaction. At the hospital, Chas puts on a brave face in front of Aaron as she’s taken into surgery. Once alone, her bravado fails as nerves take over. Aaron and Cain are tense as they wait for news on Chas. Although they’re unable to show it, both men are grateful for each other’s company.
Hollyoaks
Warren visits Kane in prison, who has been beaten up. Kane says he will die with the killers names but Warren threatens him. James sees them together at the prison and panics.
Ste rails at Tony outside The Dog in the Pond and is shaken when Peri says the police wants to speak to him. Later, above the pub, Ste breaks down to Tony about Ella’s death. Tony tries to talk to Ste about Rose but it doesn’t help him and things escalate…
Unlikely duo Dilly and Prince have a date at The Loft, and even though fellow residents warn them what they’re letting themselves in for, it seems they are both smitten.
In the Lomaxes Joel and Leela clash over her having a gender reveal party without telling him. He begs for her to take him back. Tensions grow as Leela explains she can’t get hurt again and they row over Cleo and pleads to make a family together.
After spending the night at Lucas’ place, Frankie is avoiding calls from her family who are worrying about her whereabouts. Ste walks in on Lucas and Frankie and fears the underage teens spent the night together.
Neighbours
The residents of Erinsborough come together for the Longest Lie-In, but it’s not long before tensions begin to simmer.
The reveal at the Lie-in leads to major consequences for those involved. The Lie-In ends with surprising winners… And losers. Aaron receives a call that shakes him to the core.
Toadie struggles with his new reality. Felix is drawn to JJ, despite his best efforts. Hugo finds himself in grave danger.
Toadie tries to keep a level head in the face of a terrifying situation. JJ draws on Felix’s advice. Felix makes a fateful decision.
