MAXINE RECEIVES A SHOCK – Declan is keen to continue his and Carter’s sessions with Lucas. Sharon tells Sally she should talk to John Paul about what they’ve discussed in a conversation we haven’t seen, but she brushes it off and tells her son there’s nothing to worry about. Carter tells John Paul he shouldn’t be working but instead be with Sally. Carter goes with John Paul to the hospital, John Paul discusses his concerns over his relationship with Maxine. Sally tells the two men she’ll get he scan results in a few weeks leaving Sharon looking troubled.
CLEO DOESN’T WANT TO LOSE ABE – Joel tells Leela he doesn’t want his parents in his life and he wants to focus on her and the baby. Abe manipulates Cleo, making her believe that she is the one sabotaging their relationship and suggests they go on a break. When Cleo helps Theresa with childcare, Abe calls her angry claiming she stood him up at the pub. Abe tells Cleo it’s not working living at the McQueens and he’s going to move out, Zoe overhears the conversation and suggests if Cleo is made to feel hurt all the time maybe it’s not working.
KITTY IS DISTRACTED – Beau asks Kitty out for a drink. Darren opens up to Beau about his worries for Phoenix finding love and acceptance from someone in the future with being trans. Cleo drops a letter off from the hospital addressed to Kitty, when Kitty opens it she discovers it’s a placement induction for the hospital. With her mind elsewhere she reschedules her date with Beau.
