Amit enquires about Pollard’s wealth and forms a cunning plan. During their pool match, Amit and Pollard raise the stakes by betting money on their next game. Amit’s pleased to see Pollard’s exhilarated by the prospect of the competition and, keen to gain his trust, he purposely loses. Eager to keep life exciting, Pollard’s intrigued when charming Amit presents a lucrative business proposition and the pair continue to bond.

Tom’s stressed and irritable as he continues to berate Belle for her decision to postpone having children. Suzy’s surprised to find Belle working the reception at the vets and alludes to an unaware Belle about the job offer at Take A Vow. Furious Belle covers for Tom and pretends he passed on the message. Later, Belle accuses Tom of lying to Suzy but he manages to appease her.

Continuing to hide his secret, Aaron forces nonchalance when she expresses relief at the supposed results of his gene test. The family reunites when Paddy brings Eve round to see Chas. It’s awkward when Mandy arrives as Chas and Paddy’s kiss hangs in the air like an elephant in the room. Chas braces herself when Mandy confronts her about the kiss with Paddy. After a tense exchange, Chas is stunned to hear that Mandy’s keen to draw a line under the situation.

Manpreet has a word with a chastised Liam when she catches him flirting with Ella again.
