Kirsty’s (Kiruna Stamell) patience wears thin as she awaits the tardy arrival of the new temp. However, when outgoing Paige Popplewell (Genevieve Lewis) finally shows up, Kirsty is left speechless. The bonding session between Zara (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh) and Paige over designer shoes adds a surprising element to the day.
Meanwhile, tension brews as Zara confides in Michelle about her impending appointment with Sergio (Che Francis). Things take a dramatic turn when Sergio clears out Zara’s wardrobe, leaving her stunned.
As the day progresses, Kirsty observes Paige’s adept people skills and decides to delegate responsibilities, leading to an unexpected revelation about Kirsty’s personal life. However, Paige’s curiosity about Zara’s income sparks a heated exchange, leaving Kirsty and Paige at odds.
