As Aaron (Danny Miller) continues to hide his news that he’s inherited the faulty BRCA2 gene from his mum, it’s Liam (Jonny McPherson), who continues to try and hide the truth from Chas in the face of her probing questions.

As Chas probes Liam for answers, his hurried exit only fuels her suspicions, leaving her deeply concerned about what he might be hiding. But it’s a fleeting glance from Aaron that betrays the truth, plunging him into a whirlwind of anger and denial as he grapples with his emotions now that his secret is out in the open.

Aaron wastes no time in confronting Liam, making it clear that he’s crossed a line. But when Chas notices Liam’s injuries the next day and jumps to conclusions about Aaron’s involvement, Liam can’t help but let her believe what she wants to.

Elsewhere this week, Charity finally convinces Chas to lay everything on the line in her pursuit of Liam. Meanwhile, Ella’s motivated to capture Liam’s heart, after Leyla assures her that Liam only has eyes after misinterpreting a conversation with him earlier. Chas and Liam are finally prepared to tell each other how they feel, before Ella intervenes.

Meanwhile, Ruby’s hopes for a fresh start with Caleb away from the turmoil of the village are dashed when a single conversation with Chas unleashes a storm of emotions. This new revelation leaves Ruby seething, determined to confront Caleb and set things straight.

Caleb’s return to the Woolpack is met with warm greetings from the locals, but the atmosphere is quickly soured when Ruby storms in, ready for a confrontation. What begins as a heated exchange escalates into a full-blown altercation as Ruby finds herself in a slanging match with the Dingles.

Amid the chaos, a shocking accident kicks off when Ruby elbows Chas in the chest during the altercation. The unintended blow leaves Chas reeling and adds fuel to the already fiery situation.

As tensions reach a boiling point, Caleb makes a devastating choice to side with the Dingles, publicly rejecting Ruby and leaving her broken and alone. The heart-wrenching moment sees Ruby’s world come crashing down as she realizes she has lost everything she had hoped for.

With her world crumbling around her, Ruby finds herself inconsolable outside the pub, grappling with the fallout of her actions. Meanwhile, Dawn looks on, worried for her friend’s wellbeing as Caleb emerged from the Woolpack, consumed by rage.

As Ruby struggles to make Caleb believe that the elbow to Chas was an accident, the future looks uncertain for the couple.
