EastEnders viewers are in for a shocking twist as Yolande becomes the victim of a horrifying attack.
While busy organising a fundraiser with Pastor Clayton, Yolande’s world crumbles when she discovers Denise is living with Phil after Jack’s betrayal. Despite Denise’s pleas to keep her hospital stay a secret, Patrick’s suspicions are raised.
Unnerved by Yolande and Denise’s secrecy, Patrick attempts to mend fences with a family dinner. However, tensions escalate when Pastor Clayton intrudes, seemingly privy to Denise’s hidden struggles. Patrick’s jealousy flares, threatened by the Pastor’s closeness to his family.
The fundraiser arrives, adding stress to Yolande’s plate, further exacerbated by Pastor Clayton’s wife’s cutting remarks. Later, Patrick finds Yolande alone with the Pastor, sparking a furious argument that leaves Yolande banning him from the event.
Alone and vulnerable in the Community Centre kitchen, Yolande is instead met by Pastor Clayton, who launches a devastating sexual assault.
Shaken and traumatised, Yolande seeks comfort at the Laundrette, confiding in a shocked Elaine.
