Monday night’s River City is a rollercoaster of emotions as the big double wedding preparations get underway.
The lads’ stag night, meticulously planned by Mulvaney’s best man Lenny, is a recipe for disaster. Mikey is far from impressed, and Jonathon’s attempt to play the hard man backfires spectacularly, causing a fight to erupt between Tyler and Conor.
Meanwhile, the girls’ night is in full swing at Bernie’s Belles. Bernie and Gillian bond over doubts about Jonathon, but while Bernie seems to accept Mikey’s choice, Gillian’s worries intensify.
The peace is shattered when the grooms join the hen party. Mikey catches Gillian snooping through Jonathon’s things, and a furious argument ensues. Mikey, frustrated by his supposed best friend’s dishonesty, makes a shocking decision.
Elsewhere, Bernie is at her wit’s end with Mulvaney’s blind loyalty to Lenny. She’s tired of his lies and feels like an afterthought. She demands that Mulvaney get his priorities straight.
In a separate bombshell, Ash finally confides in Armand about his sexuality. He admits his doubts about loving Gillian, and Armand urges him to come clean – and fast.
