Max, still suspicious of Daniel’s involvement in Lauren’s disappearance, makes a shocking discovery. After Bethany confronts him for harassing Daniel, Max follows him to a meeting with a mysterious woman named Nicky. Eagle-eyed Max recognises Nicky and jumps to a horrifying conclusion – is Daniel entangled with a sex worker? Max even captures photographic “proof” on his phone, fuelling his theory and potentially destroying Daniel’s reputation. Will Bethany be able to clear Daniel’s name, or will Max’s accusations cause irreparable damage?
Meanwhile, Dee-Dee receives a series of chilling death threats via email. Worried for her safety, Joel tries to investigate, but Dee-Dee remains tight-lipped. With Michael warning her about trusting Joel’s past lies, Dee-Dee finds herself caught in the middle, unsure who to confide in. Will she open up to Joel, or will these threats remain a terrifying secret?
There’s a glimmer of hope for Adam as Alya storms out on him after a job offer backfires. Despite Alya’s fury, Adam seems strangely smitten by her fiery spirit. Could this be the start of an unlikely romance, or is Adam simply enjoying the drama?
In lighter news, Nick finds himself pleasantly surprised by the positive impact of Leanne’s reality coding on the bistro’s business. Although initially sceptical, Nick softens when Sam bonds with a young girl over a game of chess. Could Leanne’s methods be working after all?
