In the latest drama to hit Albert Square, Denise and Patrick are left reeling as Yolande’s reaction to Levi’s concerns about her absence at prayer group spirals out of control.
Seeking solace in the laundrette, Yolande’s emotional turmoil unfolds after a heart-to-heart with Jean, where she confesses her crisis of faith. With Jean’s encouragement, Yolande decides to arrange Jordan’s baptism, but faces resistance from Chelsea who demands she stay out of their lives. However, with persuasion from Denise and Patrick, Chelsea eventually comes around and reconciles with Yolande.
As Yolande presses on with baptism plans, an encounter with Pastor Clayton sparks tension. Matters escalate when Yolande discovers Chelsea meeting with Pastor Clayton, leading to a confrontation at the Community Centre. Concerned for Yolande’s wellbeing, Chelsea and Denise urge Patrick to seek medical help for her.
Meanwhile, Pastor Clayton’s presence continues to unsettle Yolande, prompting her to forbid his involvement in Jordan’s baptism. But Patrick’s worries reach new heights when he returns home to find Yolande’s distraction leading to a kitchen mishap.
