Emmerdale viewers are in for a rollercoaster ride next week as a dramatic dinner party exposes the dark secrets of several couples.
At the centre of the drama is Belle King (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) who seems oblivious to the controlling behaviour of her new husband, Tom King (James Chase). The episode unfolds through the perspectives of the dinner guests, creating a chilling contrast between the facade of a perfect evening and the terrifying reality behind closed doors.

Viewers will see Belle desperately trying to keep everyone happy, unaware that Tom has been manipulating her and even keeping her under surveillance. “There’s a lot going on and Belle’s not actually aware at this point of any of those things happening,” says Taylor-Draper. “So the viewers obviously see what Tom is doing and what Tom’s capable of.”
The seemingly idyllic dinner party takes a sinister turn as the guests depart. “I think you can expect to see everything escalate throughout the episode,” warns Taylor-Draper. “You’ll see how easily Tom can switch on and off and how he truly feels and his anger towards Belle. You’ll get a glimpse into Belle’s terrifying reality.”

Despite the abuse, Belle remains under Tom’s control. “He’s so good at turning it on her and I think when that’s being drilled into her constantly, every day for everything, it’s easy for her to believe that she’s the one at fault,” explains Taylor-Draper.
This unmissable episode of Emmerdale promises to be a turning point for Belle and Tom’s relationship. Tune in next week to see if Belle can escape her controlling husband and what other secrets will be revealed at the dinner party from hell!
