Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle) and Zoe Henry (Rhona Goskirk) reveal all about a dramatic new episode that will leave Emmerdale fans on the edge of their seats.
Emmerdale is set for a must-see episode next week as a dinner party for the Dingles descends into chaos for Marlon and Rhona.
Charnock explains the strain on Marlon and Rhona’s relationship: “Marlon feels betrayed by Rhona’s decision in court regarding Gus. He thinks they should have presented a united front.”
Things get worse when they decide to attend the dinner party despite their obvious issues. “The alcohol loosens their tongues,” says Henry, “and all their resentment explodes in front of everyone.”

While both actors acknowledge the flaws in their characters, they also see their perspectives. Charnock says, “Marlon feels inadequate after his stroke, and Rhona’s unilateral decisions make him feel like she doesn’t trust him.” Henry adds, “Rhona feels like she can’t do anything right in Marlon’s eyes.”
With their relationship hanging by a thread, viewers will be left wondering if Marlon and Rhona can rebuild their trust. “There’s no drama in happiness,” teases Henry, leaving fans to wait and see what the future holds for this Emmerdale couple.

Umissable Emmerdale airs Tuesday 7th May on ITV1
