With her future looking bright, Chelsea is finally having her moment as she and Paul prepare to celebrate their engagement with a big party. Even with Jeffrey breathing down her neck, Chelsea is determined not to let her web of lies get in the way of her happiness, a happiness she feels she’s owed. Liele does Chelsea know that Krista has her memory back and will crash their engagement party, Jeffrey in toe, to reveal all. Will she be believed, or will Chelsea squirm her way out again?
Melanie chooses to hide from Terese and Toadie when she spots them out. But she’s sprung by Terese, who realizes how much Melanie’s struggling having Toadie back in Erinsborough. Terese brings it up with Toadie and gives him permission to make peace with Melanie so that they can all move on, once and for all. Although trepidatious, Toadie offers a heartfelt apology to Melanie for the way he treated her. Finally, the turbulence seems to be calming for this trio.
Hit by a stroke of genius, Sadie thinks she and Byron need to sneak Trevor into Haz’s hospital room to help him wake. Acer they successfully get the dog in, they get busted by Remi who reveals Trevor is allowed to visit and no sneaking was actually necessary. It’s a bieersweet moment for them as Trevor’s presence doesn’t wake Haz and Sadie’s left fearful that he won’t wake at all.
