Another week, and ANOTHER character facing a life and death situation on Emmerdale as this time it’s Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) who finds himself on the wrong end of a knife after a fight with Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) ends in tragedy.
Lydia’s nightmare comes true as Samson passes his driving test and sets off on his European adventure with new pal Josh. But celebrations at the HOP turn sour when Josh’s unwelcome advances towards Amy and deadnaming of Matty spark a confrontation.
The situation between Josh and Matty grows increasingly hostile for Matty, until Josh starts threatening him to give up the money in the till.
Things explode when Josh shoves Samson into Matty, who is holding a knife. Disaster strikes as Samson is stabbed, leaving Matty in shock and facing a twisted accusation from Josh.
With Samson bleeding out, Josh accuses Matty of coming at them with the knife.
Can Matty clear his name, or will he be left facing the blame for this horrific turn of events?
