The revolving door that brings back bad boys is still doing the rounds (Picture: ITV)

Bethany Platt returns home triumphant from her interview, announcing to Sarah that she landed the magazine job but is dreading her first assignment: an article supporting Corey Brent. When she breaks the news to Abi, Abi is horrified.

Digging deeper, Abi discovers that Stefan Brent, Corey’s father, is a board director of the production company behind a controversial documentary and owns the magazine. Convinced Stefan is behind the deep fake videos, Abi and Kevin report him to the police. They watch anxiously as DS Swain hauls Stefan in for questioning, hoping their ordeal is nearing an end.

Bethany offers to quit her job, but Abi suggests it might be advantageous to have an insider. Kevin later persuades Bethany to lend him her security pass to Stefan’s offices.

More cop drama in Corrie (Picture: ITV)

Kevin’s nocturnal activities raise Abi’s suspicions, but he brushes it off as stress. He then enlists Max to hack a stolen mobile phone. When Tyrone finds an email with a video of Kevin breaking into Stefan’s office, Kevin insists it’s another deep fake. Bethany realizes Kevin’s involvement and warns him not to drag her family into the mess.

The drama escalates when Stefan confronts Kevin, threatening to use the incriminating footage to send him to jail. Meanwhile, Abi overhears Tyrone telling Craig about Kevin’s supposed deep fake video. The tension peaks when Kevin returns home to find Abi and Craig waiting. Will he report Stefan or succumb to the mounting pressure?
