In a gripping week on Emmerdale, tensions reach a boiling point as Moira and Amy visit Matty in prison, finding him on edge and struggling to cope. Moira’s mention of his medication reveals his dire state. Meanwhile, at the Dingles, Cain’s arrival unsettles Samson as he prepares for work. Cain pleads with Samson to reveal the truth about Josh being the real culprit to save Matty from rotting in jail.

Despite Cain’s plea, Moira is disheartened by Samson’s refusal to change his story. Determined to save Matty, Moira ominously suggests there’s more than one way to skin a cat and follows Samson to the Woolpack toilets with dark intentions.

Later, Cain warns Moira against jeopardizing Matty’s case, but she lashes out, emasculating him at the dinner table. The next day, Moira regrets her harsh words, but the damage is done as a drunken Cain spirals out of control, leaving Moira shaken and her marriage in tatters.

Adding to the drama, Kerry tries to outsmart Josh at the Woolpack by secretly recording their conversation, hoping for a confession. However, her plan disastrously backfires, complicating the already tense situation.

Will Moira’s desperate actions save Matty, or will they destroy her family for good?
