Celebrity MasterChef is back this summer on BBC One, bringing a star-studded line-up to the kitchen for its 19th series.

EastEnders star Danielle Harold is set to bring her acting chops to the kitchen in this summer’s eagerly awaited 19th series of Celebrity MasterChef. The popular BBC One show will see Harold and 19 other celebrities from diverse fields battle it out for the coveted title of Celebrity MasterChef Champion 2024.

Returning judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace will put the stars through their paces with six weeks of rigorous culinary challenges. As they compete, Harold and her fellow contestants will aim to impress with their cooking skills and creativity.

Danielle, best known for her role as Lola Pearce in EastEnders, is excited to swap the drama of Albert Square for the heat of the MasterChef kitchen. She joins a star-studded line-up that includes reality star Charlotte Crosby, TV presenter Craig Doyle, and pop star Mutya Buena, among others.

Reflecting on the upcoming series, MasterChef Series Editor Katie Attwood said, “Celebrity MasterChef fans are in for a treat this summer – with a top line-up of celebrities and the ever-thrilling John and Gregg on judging duty. These stars will need to pull out all the stops this year as we’re really testing their mettle. It’s one you won’t want to miss!”

The competition will kick off with four Heat weeks, each featuring the notorious Under The Cloche challenge and a two-course Dinner Party Menu test. Successful contestants will move on to cook in a professional restaurant and devise a Food Truck dish before facing critique from former champions and finalists in the Quarter Finals.

As the series progresses, the eight remaining celebrities will tackle new challenges in the Semi and Final weeks, including a Pizza round, cooking on the British Pullman Train, and the prestigious Chef’s Table. The competition will culminate in an intense final where only the most talented cook will emerge victorious.
