Despite their split, Tom continues to cast a shadow over Belle’s life, lurking discreetly but menacingly. As Belle and Vinny reconcile with a friendly chat and hug, Tom watches from afar, his jealousy evident.
Tom spins a deceptive narrative to his aunt Nicola, suggesting Vinny is more than just a friend to Belle, painting Belle in a negative light. Nicola, unaware of Tom’s manipulative tactics, ends up offering him a place to stay.
