Cain struggles to believe Moira wasn’t the one who grassed him up. In the Woolpack, Amelia’s anxious for news of Samson’s plea hearing as she worries about the repercussions for Esther of having her biological dad locked up. The Woolpack is silenced when Lydia enters with news.
After pressure from Brenda and overwhelmed by guilt, Pollard finds himself admitting that he made Jai sack her from the Hide and faces the full force of Vic’s ire for masterminding her sacking and leaving her penniless. He tries to explain his recent decision-making, but Vic’s too hurt to let it excuse his actions. As Victoria tries to talk, Aaron’s too preoccupied with someone on his phone to listen properly. When Aaron tells her how she can use the circumstances of her sacking to her advantage, Vic’s left thoughtful.
Kim’s reluctant to talk about the situation with Will. But there are still trust issues between them. Jimmy almost hears about the kiss from Will but finally. Kim opens up to Lydia about her crumbling marriage.
