Emmerdale viewers are in for a rollercoaster ride next week as Ella’s (Paula Lane) 30th birthday celebrations descend into chaos.
Mandy (Lisa Riley) throws Ella a surprise. She offers a pampering session at the salon. It is complete with before and after photos. But Ella’s anxiety gets the better of her when she discovers the photos have been posted online.
Witnessing the meltdown from afar, Liam (Jonny McPherson) steps in to calm a distraught Ella. He even escorts her to her surprise birthday party.
The mood initially seems to lift as Ella tries to embrace the festivities. Liam adds a personal touch by gifting her a star pendant. But the arrival of Gary (June’s nephew) throws everything into disarray.
A menacing Gary confronts Ella, holding a photo of Joanne. This unsettling meet sends Ella spiraling, forcing her to flee in tears.
The drama continues as Wendy (Susan Cookson) finds Ella in a state and attempts to offer comfort. However, a shocking twist awaits as Ella lashes out at Wendy in a desperate and confused state.
