In tonight’s dramatic Emmerdale episode, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) took a bold step as she reported to the police that she’s a victim of domestic abuse.
Earlier in the episode, Belle visited her ex-husband Tom (James Chase) in hospital, where the pair appeared to reach a fragile agreement. Tom believed they had struck a deal — Belle wouldn’t reveal that it was her who attacked him, as long as she stayed quiet about her ordeal.
But in a shocking turn, Belle was later seen at the police station, handing over the axe she used to strike Tom in last week’s episode. She confessed, “I’ve attacked my husband, in self-defence. He wanted to kill me. I’m a victim of domestic abuse.”
As Belle takes this brave step, viewers will be left wondering — will she finally get the justice she deserves after all she’s endured?
