Tensions are rising on the cobbles this week as Sarah points the finger at Adam over missing money from Damon’s lock-up. Adam insists he’s innocent, along with Daniel, and suggests Damon’s cousin may be the real thief.
Meanwhile, over at No.8, Jesse makes an unexpected move, telling David he’s rented a flat in Oakhill and is expecting a financial windfall. As David keeps his cards close to his chest while crunching the numbers to buy No.8, Jesse offers to help out financially – even revealing plans for a trip to Whitby with Gail. Sarah and David grow suspicious of his strange behaviour, only for the arrival of an estate agent with a “for sale” sign to raise more eyebrows.
Things take a twist when Adam lets slip that Jesse might’ve overheard him and Daniel talking about Damon’s hidden cash, leading Sarah to suspect Jesse could be behind the missing money. Desperate for answers, she ropes David in to help her prove it.
Jesse’s efforts to bond with Gail’s kids raise further suspicion when he treats David, Sarah, and Nick to lunch at the Rovers. But when Jesse’s quizzed about his finances and claims he’s expecting cash from selling his former home, David advises Sarah to let Damon’s money go. However, when Jesse makes a quick exit, Sarah’s suspicions boil over, and she follows him to Victoria Gardens. Could Jesse be hiding something after all? Stay tuned to find out!
